i grew up in the city of manila in the philippines then i moved to san francisco, california, usa, to be with my family in december 2006.
i've been a seeker of the truth ever since high school, reading books on anything suggestive of the various things that unacquainted people considered as unexplained or unknown. my interests grew from paranormal phenomena surrounding us to the extraordinary faculties of human beings. i've always wanted an explanation on such, and during this searching, i've learned that in order to gain a better understanding of these things, it is necessary to prove them by directly experiencing them myself. with my desire to develop some of these faculties, i struggled in dealing with my egos in order to achieve a higher level of spirituality which i found to be necessary if i were to take a greater responsibility of my actions during this venture. as time passed by, i began to place a much higher value on my spirituality, particularly on my life's purpose and the meaning of life in general. i now want to be able to see the essence in the things we (or i) experience.
i've become a student/member of a few esoteric schools associated with rosicrucianism/hermeticism and general esotericism, which i can't speak of any further, in manila for an extremely short period of time in the last years i spent in the country. i am very grateful to have found another center of related studies in berkeley here in the bay area. i have so much to learn about gnosis and i'm learning it slowly. i greatly value the group sessions i attend in the center as, for many years, i always find it extremely difficult to practice on my own.
