About Me:
I am 48 years old, married to Dave with two sons, 17 and 25, Jacob and David. I've had a lifelong interest in psychology and spirituality, always yearning to find out more about who I really am and why I'm here. I was led to Gnosticweb through a posting on Amazon on an unrelated astral travel book (and will be forever thankful to that poster!). I truly value the straight forward techniques taught in the classes that show how to find out the truth about many things I have wondered about my entire life. The Gnosticweb organization is amazing! The atmosphere here is very supportive and connecting with others working towards the same goals adds so much.

Good to hear you gained a lot from this course. It was great having your feedback and positive influence in the forums and in the chat.
I think taking the Teacher’s course would be a good opportunity for you if you feel you are ready and are interested in starting to teach. This course is similar to the Open Course but raises the octave quite a bit in terms of finding out what efforts are required in our practices and prepares you for being a teacher. We do not need to have high skills in astral projection in order to start teaching. Some experience is good, as well as having a basic understanding of gnosis and how the practices work. But we also learn when we teach.
That is great that you want to start a study group! For this I would also recommend taking the teacher’s course as that allows you to be a direct link to the teachings. If you are interested I can ask someone to be get in contact with you from the Berkeley centre?

Hello Gina,
I am sorry to hear you were unwell. It takes a lot of courage to see things objectively like that, so I’m glad to hear you managed to gain a lot whilst being in such an uncomfortable physical condition. As I look over the times I was ill in the past, it’s easy to not take advantage of the egos that were coming up at the time, but as you were able to benefit from the experience, I’d agree that we can get shown things as we’re immersed in unique and rare circumstances. Or they can become fruits for later reflection.
I hope you are on your way to getting better, and are up for the challenges that are set for the group astral practice!
