About Me:

23 times around the sun.

I am from California. I was born here and live here. I ride my bicycle everyday and love to go on hikes and camp in the woods. That is what my name means, "The woods" or "forest". I met my husband in the woods in California and last summer I went to Toronto and we got married there.

So what has lead up to me taking up Gnosticism?

Well, I have always loved to dream lucid since I was a baby and then stopped lucid dreaming at about 12.
Then when I was 14 I started to read about lucid dreams and learned how to make them happen. I became a lucid dream hunter. I wouldn't lucid dream all the time, but I did try everynight and still do.

Also, I loved magic and psychic stuff. I started to dive into meditation and would read any occult related subjects. My spiritual life started to become important to me, but it was darkish and lacking something I did not know of yet.
At about 16 I learned what astral projection really was and learned how to do it with techniques. I don't astral project at will, but I try everysingle night because it is my favorite thing in the whole world. I felt like astral projection was making me become more spiritual.

One day, while searching on the web for more astral info, I came across gnosticweb. I was excited to learn that there were free classes really close to where I lived!

That was almost 3 years ago. I have been attending the Berkeley center since the late summer of 2005. Since then, my spiritual life has been becoming more of a thing of love and light, instead of just greedy magic.

I strive to wake up, spiritual transformation is my reason for breathing, it is a wonderful thing, I've gotten great glimpses of what my soul can become, and I want to share this with all humanity as I continue to learn.

Inner Peace to All.

Hello Silvia!

I really enjoyed talking to you at the retreat.

Wish you the best.

Maria

Hi Silvia,

It was great to meet you. I hope you are doing well. The peaceful place is in the mountains a few hours from where I live. I was really drawn to that particular spot when I went on an awareness walk there one time :)

Take care,

Gabrielle

Hi Silvia,

Thanks for saying 'hi'! Yeah I really enjoy Richard Bach's writing, Jonathan most of all!

I can't wait for the retreat and to meet everyone in person. I'm currently in Melbourne Australia however I plan to move to the US this year (Avondale in Arizona) so it will be an extra special visit. I wish I were moving closer to the Berkeley Center however at this point in time it would be difficult due to my fiancé's home and work location :(

Thanks again for stopping by and look forward to meeting you!

Amy
