This is the most inspiring guitar video I have seen, thank you so much. I would love to learn this piece!
Hearing that though, I haven't written anything that sounds similar to that, so it is a style I shall certainly look into for some new pieces.
You don't have to be considered technically "good" at the guitar, to enjoy playing it as you probably know. I haven't really had lessons or anything and I can't read music, but I play a lot by ear and practice. It would be cool to hear the song you tried to compose, because sometimes there can be hidden potential that the composer doesn't notice.
I haven't really played too much classical pieces, but I love the sound of classical guitar, and would love to learn to play that style of music much more fluently.
I will see if I can find the song you mentioned and have a listen to it.
Best of luck with the self discovery course!
Hey Ivan,
I have composed a couple of pieces for the guitar that some may say resemble classical pieces, though I'm not sure exactly if they do fit into that category 100%
I generally don't label my music with particular genres, because I just play what comes through me, and many songs may start out in one direction, and then go through many musical phases.
Some of the songs I have written don't seem to fit into a genre
Thanks for your interest
What course are you taking in a few days?
I think I called it "Borders" because that fence reminded me of a border that stops you from reaching the sky... :)
and the girl is a friend.
all the best!
