Isn't Belzebuub the name of a demon? Also, I've looked it up, and the actual spelling seems to be Beelzebub. Why does he use that name? Wouldn't that make people avoid his information?

Just curious.

It doesn't mean Belzebuub is a demon :)

Everyone has a name that is eternal, beyond what we are named by our parents in this life.

Samael Aun Weor used his eternal name too that was different from his physical name, as did Rabolu.

Basically at the appropriate stage in the spiritual work your true name is revealed to you. Samael, Rabolu, and Belzebuub use their eternal names.

I THOUGHT THAT TO BE INTERESTING

Why Beelzebub? But then....Believe me, the author of these books does not have the fruits nor characteristics of a demon. He seems to be down to earth, caring, and, best of all, very explanatory in the books he writes.

I see. Belzebuub never struck me as a demon or anything, he seems like a really great guy. It's just weird how that's the name he was given, or that he uses. I wonder why he has such a name.

But I think it'd be cool if my eternal name was actually Momotombo... I love my nickname :)

Hello Momotombo,

It is Belzebuub and not Beelzebub. We all have a name that is eternal and this is not selected by us - it just is. He uses this name because this is the name of his master(his real being) who gives the teachings.
I have not met him personally - only in astral/dreams - and he is trully a down-to-earth, kind and motivating being.

hope this clarifies a bit

I used to doubt his intentions quite a bit when i first became a student of Gnosticweb, partly because of his name. But then i had a semi-lucid dream in which i was sitting at a desk in a classroom in which Belzebuub (Mark Pritchard) was the teacher, very interesting experience. Afterwards, i began to study his books and practice what is given in them, and i see by his works and intelligence that he is truly a great master from which there is much to be learned.

I was fortunate enough to meet him in person at a retreat at the beginning of the year, and I have to re-itterate how down to earth, caring and motivating I found him to be. Both he and his wife Edith gave me so much inspiration to begin to really work on myself and start to make changes in my life towards spiritual progression, and I am so grateful to them for that. The entire Gnosticweb organisation that they have founded is such a blessing.

He gives very good practical advice and gives what you need rather than what you want. He is not short on a good sense of humour either!

GOOD ENERGY

It does feel like good energy around him. He does seem down to earth and practical. It would be great to meet him personally.
