I really want to believe in this thing, but I want some actual proof of it. I don't want to spend all my engergy & time trying to learn something might not be true. |

I was like you when I first came across Astral Projection. In order to start I had to suspend my disbelief, something kept pushing me to try. Eventually I joined a course with a group of people who were going through similar things to me, I practiced hard and in the end I proved it for myself?.
The author of this site recommends that we treat the information like we would a map of a place we have never been to or seen. We have to use the map to verify the information for ourselves. As we see each landmark we can refer back to our map and if we see it just as it has been described in the book or in a course then we know. Gradually we get experience and our own knowledge.
if you practice you will find out...
I know it is worth the effort?.

The only way to find the truth in this is by direct experience. Then you will go from either believing or not in Astral Projection to Knowing and the outcome could change the way you view the world.

You go to sleep every night, and that's when the techniques are done, so it really doesn't require that much time. It's just a training with different techniques to be able to catch that moment that you fall asleep.
The proof is certainly in experience, but until you have your own experience you can only be given testimonials and techniques to get your own.

It only takes one experience to completely change your outlook. Its worth putting in the effort to find out.

seems appropriate (intuitively) to bring this up here. I heard a positive mention of your name in the astral last night. Looked for your last post this morning, and here it was in the AP forum.
Ap experiences can be, and are, verfied between people all the time.

I was about my business in the astral last night when something completely unrelated (nice) was said to me about "Jim B" (just a voice), kind of like an 'aside' in a play.
This aside thing has happened before.
It may have been a dream image/sound, Im not sure.
I have only seen Jims B's name on this forum, but I recognised and placed the name here. (never met).
May have been pure coincedence, but when I looked for Jim's latest posting there it was. (if ap is real then prove it)
Dosn,t prove anything in itself, but ???

Hi,
although AP was not proven, lucid dreaming was. It was done by a researcher named Stephen LaBerge. He still interprets it as a mind thing, whereas AP is seen the entry point to a new dimension. So this part remains on you to prove.

When I started the courses I was intent on proveing AP to my non-believer firends. I had planned to prove it by getting one of them to put an object in a room for me to identify, or by my me verifying a playing card beside their bed or something of that nature. Thing is though, when I started having experiences for myself I found I had nothing to prove anymore, I found there are too many things I want to investigate for myself to be wasting time 'proving' it to others. Through direct experience I know it to be true and for me that's enough.
There's nothing like direct experience, it's the best proof of all!

For me it was pretty easy to make it the first time by waking up in a dreams. I just practiced a bit, wished to get there...and here I was. Conscious in the 5th dimension!
Nobody can give the faith which comes only from a personal experience.
