Why do you want to Astral Project for?

What's the reason why people want to Astral Project for? I want to do it because it sounds fun, but should I take it really seriously? When you Astral Project, where do you go? Do you see your loved ones when in the Astral Plane?

Forum Posts: 668 		Hello AP Believer and wellcome to our forum. There is all sorts of reason that make people interested in AP. For me it was because I wanted to know if it is true. When I found out through a direct experience that it is possible, it became unbearable to live without trying to explore this extraordinary dimension. Since it is in Gnostic movement that I became aware of such possibility, I' am now using AP in order to gain knowledge about my self. Once a person masters astralprojection, many new possibilities appear.

But no metter what is pushing you to explore it in the first place, it will always be an experience that will change the perspective of life as you know it.

Life aquires a meaning when you know where it is headed. Getting to know our selfs is the only objective goal that we can aim for when APing.

From my experiences, I was amazed by idea to go into another dimension and to meet spiritual beings, explore mysteries of life, learn things about myself, which are not available here.


Later, astral experiences became a very useful part of my life, and yes, it is a lot of fun to go there, it is always an adventure.

Forum Posts: 18 		That's a great question to ask. Everyone has their own reasons; from as you mentioned, sounds like fun to spiritual advancement. I started out in the metaphysical realm when I was very young and I realized that I was calling being in to my sphere instead of going into theirs. I wanted to see their sphere, and it was through a magickal tradition that recommended a how to do it. Now, my once magick congurings have now taken on a spiritual journey of unending proportion.

Unfortunately, I never had the thought of fun for projecting it was more like walking, something that must be done in order to progress forward.

While projecting you can go anywhere and see anything. I have yet to hear about a limited area in the realm of projection. Yes, you can see loved ones and check on things while your away on vacation also.

I wish you all the luck in your technique and travels and don't worry to much about taking it seriously or not. Just enjoy the journey!!

well i do that to be more wiser and to learn more a bout the Mysteries of life also to have fun of course

Don't take it too seriously ;) there r many thing in the astral plane to do and i hope that i go out of my body :( pray for me guys :'(

i want to be able to converse with elementals and beings :)

find a magickal school perhaps or build one with you guys... (just being playful)

Well I started doing it because it was a requirement for magickal training. As I learned more about what I could do with it, I realized that there's so much information out there to learn. So now not only is it for training but I also use it to learn more about what else is out there.

There are a couple reasons I'm interested in Astral Projection. One being, that you can learn all the mysteries of life and more. There are many beings there that can help someone on the spiritual path.
