If you have not yet taken the course on AT and Dreams, it would be more difficult to AP.
The tips I can give you are:

1) Relax your body as much as possible before starting each astral practice.

2) Learn to concentrate on one thing by practicing, starting with a small amount of time and constantly building it to a longer extent.

3) Decide from your heart, will it, ask your divine part to help you from within.

4) Make a grafic for your practices, and fallow it to the end. And every time you are doing a practice, do not expect anything to happen, do it like an interesting work that you simply need to start and finish, there is no reward.

Astroprojection is something that we do every time we go to sleep, the only difference is that without being aware of the procces we do not remember it.

5) Put efforts in staying aware of your thoughts, feelings, actions, (being) throughout the day. Try to learn to be an observer who observes from within you, your every action and reaction to the world around you.

This will help you to AP if you put it in practice.
but to better understand this, you should take the courses offered here.

I wish you to succed.

I read something like this somewhere:
"Remember, that your next practice can bring you success".

I wish you to succeed, David!

From my own experience the most important thing is to find what technique puts you in that falling/ spinning sensation. Also, don't move AT ALL!!! This makes you start over again. Above all of that RELAX!!! I mean really relax. Find what it is that technique that helps you the most.

When I first started out, I used to use the tensing the body aspect, followed by the imagining there's weights on the parts your relaxing.

There are various techniques in the Astral Projection book by Beelzebub that are helpful for beginners.

Also, the class is a great start for beginners. Just remember anything worth doing takes time. The journeys the key! You will know when your going to exit. It's a process.

~Good luck fellow Astralnaut

P.S. I almost forgot. A little thing I found helpful which I still do to this day is looking at pictures of astral projection art on the net. As well as reading others adventures. It's like going to a great movie and wanting to be apart of it.

Well I hope this helps you out.

Hello David,
I find that another very important part of astral prjection is to give your 100% to the practise and to really intend to project no matter what. When you really have that intention I find that practises are much stronger and it is easier to get different sensation but at the end what is going to count is your persistance.

All the strength,

Stas
