When you feel that you are out get up gently and jump to fly.If you don't fly return to your bed and do the practice again.

Don't expect something specific to happen (eg vibrations).

It can take some experimenting to find the right time get up. If it fails and you're still in the physical plane, you can go back and try practicing again. Like chrismar suggested if you feel like you did separate or feel odd, get up slowly and try to take a jump to fly.

Also it's not always the case that the vibrations will come. Sometimes you can separate from the physical body and still be lying down on the bed without realizing it. So this is why you have to check with the little jump. You don't actually "think to float" but you literally jump to float; it it's not a mental thing. And as chrismar pointed out again, it's important to not expect anything during a practice but just allow all the different sensations to occur naturally.

You can read more about the little jump here:

Good luck!

Hello Sonny,

It is a matter of practice, the more you do it the more you learn about it. Sometimes you would feel intuitively you are 'out' while other time you may feel your astral body separated (probably some of oyur limb floating), it depends. That's why it is important to maintain concentration, because this will allow intuition to work better.

When you do the reality check you really do it. Like you get up and jump seeing whether you float or not. You don't think of it but do it.

Good luck!

Hi,

As far as I know symptoms that happen when you're nearly leaving your body are different from person to person. You could have all the symptoms, some of them or none of them. That includes vibrations.

Good luck!

Hi Hollydan and Sonic,
Welcome to this web site, I suggest you to pay close attention to each individual practice you do.
Because if you are doing something wrong, only you can tell what exactly is the problem.
To be aware that you are asleep is good,
but the key to the astral portal is in your ability to concentrate on one thought, image or mantra.
If you learn how to stay focus on one thing,
the next time you are aware of the sleep paralysis, use it, and there is no reason for you to fail.

Like Pavlin said, it takes consecutive practice to perfect and better understand the astralproject.
Also, when doing the reality cheks, like jumping or pulling your finger, do it with the most clear intention to fly or to pull the finger like a gum.
Only when you can clearly see that you are in the physical world, you should stop wanting to
fly or pull...
And keep on questioning time to time, during the day; Am I in the Astral Dimension? And jump tp fly high.

Good luck in your practice, put your will and you will fly.
