I figured this was the best place to post my topic about the book. I really like the book it is very inspirational and conveys alot of hidden truths. One of the ones that I like is the repeated "work and pray" working upon onself/praying to the divine mother for the death. It is quite a change that can be seen between the 1st book and 2nd book and this I find to be truly insipirational and shows that anyone can do it if they truly commit. I am in the process of reading it through again for the 2nd time now. Anyone else have a favorite part that they would like to share? Any views on the book ?all the best-Brent |

Well...I don't know about the favourite part...
I like all of it. I find this book to be good for both: learning and inspiration.
I remember the first time I was reading it, I was really shocked by the words in the first part, something like, "they wear their uniforms in the heads too".
Then I started to realize more how easily it is to get fascinated with a job you do, especially if it is a one recognized by society and has many rules to follow. I have realized how those jobs can relate to appearance and reinforcement of the specific egos.
Actors really becoming the characters they play...
The second part I can reread again and again, so much wisdom in those words.
Amazing teaching.
The third part made me so sad but gave me a lot of strength too.
I started to see what kind of efforts and challenges wait for those few who take this Work seriously, for real, really giving all for it.
All 100%.
Thanks again,
all the best for you!

My favourite part is the picture/diagram on page 106. It is in fact really powerful if you take the time to try to understand it.

My favorite thing is it pushes me to connect to the Divine more throughout the day.
And I'm really trying to get a better understanding of the drama Jesus portrayed. Reading this was a good suggestion from the Easter thread. I still can't even begin to comprehend such sacrifice.

I found the sacrafices by both Judas and Jesus described in this book really inspiring. I really found book three the most touching.
I found Judas's sacrifice to be incredible, having to leave his teacher and having to know that he would betray Jesus. Although no words could describe what he did and had to go through, I don't think it could have been described better than what is written in book three.

One section that is particular moving for me is pages 103-9. If you haven't looked at it in a while check it out. When it is said that he who prays and watches even in an 'imperfect way' will receive generous help, I am inspired. It reminds me that as long as I am pushing forward with efforts even though they may not be always in exactly the right direction, I will be helped, and can receive guidance.
