There are many different ways to Astral Project but you may have a hard time finding the 'best' way.
From my understanding all you really need is concentration and sleep. Mantras and Visualisation techniques are great and work well for many people, but they all come back to concentration and sleep.
The technique of concentrating on the breath is not recommended for Astral Projection, as it keeps you identified with the physical body from which you are trying to split.
If you can stay concentrated while the physical body becomes totally relaxed, you will be able to project.
Kind Regards,
Dave.

Thanks for your recommendations, Dave. I hope to project soon, just curious about the wide selection of Methods there are to AP.

I found that for me, concentrating on the heart was a very good one to start out with.
Also, I had most success when making the effort to try to AP a second time at 4am in the morning. This time is especially conducive to mystical practices.
Like Dave said though, we need to work on getting the concentration down and then mostly any technique will allow us to consciously get into the Astral.

That's the way to do it.
Everybody knows it, I guess, but only a very few actually do, I know.
No compromises.
All the best to keep up this spirit!

Like others have mentioned already there are a number of different methods of AP. Thats why the course is so good as it is already structured and supplied with the best techniques that have proven to be most affective through ardous trial and error.
Hope your in the astral soon

Do whatever it takes to achieve your goal!
Being aware all day (in every step you do, every word you say, every thought you think about,...), is also a very good way to have a powerfull practice. With the consciousness in action, everything's gonna be clearer and you'll be more focus in your practices.
Every time you come back to you (awareness) during the day (at work,school,home,eating,...), when you are in the present time and nowhere else, you can imagine yourself being in the astral... with CONVICTION! At this point, you are sure that you have the possibility to pass your hand thru the wall, or you can fly... Trick your mind, play the game!
More often* as you can during the day, ask yourself this question: "Where am I? Am I in the physical, nor in the astral?!" And jump in the air... to fly! (Or you can pull your finger if you're not alone... If you are in the astral plane, your finger will strech...).
Usually, a dream is a reflection of your subconsious, of what happened during the day. In fact, You relive your day, in a similar way... So, the goal of this funny exercise is to see yourself, in your dream asking you this famous question: "Where am I?" and also see yourself take a jump and fly... With repetition, you'll condition your mind to integrate this sentense.
It seems maybe a bit silly, but it works!
If you want to investigate this method and you have some questions, you want more details (like how I can improuve my consciousness, being more aware,...), technical problems...don't hesitate!

*If you are very serious for AP (and I'm pretty sure you are!), you'll be able to do this exercise (jumps/pull your finger) at least 50 times/ per day... Don't worry, it goes fast, you'll see... Only if you try!
