Hey guys, I tried using Raom Gaom right after I woke up, and it didn't work. I said it in my mind Raom Gaom... Does the pitch and tone have to be the same as on the web? And also the time to pronounce each letter? I just woke up, opened my eyes, maybe moved around a bit, then closde my eyes and said RAAAAAAOOOOM GAAAAAOOOM like 3 times and I can't remember anything! Do I have to concentrate even when saying these? |

It can sometimes take some time for it to work. The pronunciation and the time pronounced are indeed important for it to work. Try to pronounce it as close as possible to the sound of the mp3. I sometimes had to say it 20 times for the images to appear in my mind. Also, the more you practise this the better you will be at it. Keep trying!
Kind regards,

Concentration is important. When you say the mantra, try to recreate a picture of what you were just dreaming about--if you can remember even a tiny detail or feeling, concentrate on that and soon you will have more images. Like Martijn said, sometimes it takes me five minutes of the mantra before I can remember anything. Good luck!

For me too, sometimes it doesn't work, but later usually I find the reasons why,
sometimes i do mantra and think about having breakfast,
lack of concentration.
or do it really fast, just to make myself beleive that I am "spiritual" guy who does all the stuff.
lack of time and lack of true purpose.
I find it's good always to look for ways to improve practices, retrospect them to see what went wrong etc. Or we can get stuck with the same mistakes, I think.
All the best!

Not to worry, sometimes the mantra doesn't work for me either but often, like the other people have commented, I might not be fully concentrating as I'm feeling hungry or really need to go to the bathroom and my attention is elsewhere.
Sometimes the mantra works in the way that I can only sense a teeny bit of a dream, but when I go over that teeny bit in my head, I suddenly start remembering a lot more of the dream and it comes alive again.
Also, sometimes when I wake up in morning, I turn my computer on and start typing whatever I can remember of the dreams I've had, and then I can suddenly remember more and more of the dreams.
it's worth a try.

We always can ask our Divine Mother to show us why this mantra or something else doesn't work for us.
Also overall level of spirituality makes everything work better, and the opposite is true too...
All the best in your practices!

For me the Raom Gaom works only like this: I try remember not to move when waking up, usually I DO remember that, then just pronounce it for 5-10 minutes- usually I remember some before I start pronouncing. After this I dont remember more of it, but it makes me remembering my dreams or parts of them, the next day!If I dont use the Raom Gaom at all, I dont remember anything from my dreams, only if Im lucky occassionally. So dont give up!

Yes, me too, sometimes it makes me to remember dreams later.
As long as I put efforts in it in the early morning, when the last thing I want to do is to put efforts.
Take care!

That's great that the mantra worked so quickly for you; it is very effective.
When we dream the subconscious is free to act out its desires and impulses, so that's why you saw yourself doing things you wouldn't normally do during the day. Our dreams can help us learn a lot about what really goes on inside of us, and show us what we need to work on. If you take the Astral or Self Discovery courses, they explain all this in great detail. Hope that helps!
