This may seem like a strange question but is it possible that awareness could come too easily?I have noticed that I can clear my mind almost instantly and simply live within the moment. Even now I can feel within myself and anticipate any arising Ego's. Around me I can feel the air from my fan sluice against my back, expand my field of vision, feel the familiar touch of my keyboard, hear the crickets chirping in unison outside, and taste the salt on my tongue. The state of awareness almost feels as if it comes 'too' naturally for me and im somehow at a loss as if im doing something incorrectly or if my experiences while being wiccan and pagan could be a part of this. This is also relative to my meditative works because I tend to slip in while fully aware then focus myself as the mind reaches a focal point of clarity. I greatly appreciate any tips or general introspection on this.On the same note I have only recently begun my path into gnosis. It's been perhaps four months at most. |

Being in a state of awareness is indeed a very natural thing, though as you may or may not have noticed the mind can really complicate things.
When you approach the practice in a simple way, without identifing with the ego's it can be a very easy and natural thing. Though it's harder for some people than it is for others. It's great that it's going so well for you :)
For alot of people (including me) the hard part is maintaining the awareness, the ego's really try to take us out of the moment. Once you slightly lose your guard and identify with an ego, you can easily be brought back into daydreaming by the continuing stream of ego's that try to manifest.
much strenght with the awareness.

If it feels natural and you are both aware of the internal sensations (thoughts, feelings, emotions) and the information of the five senses, you are doing it correctly. You can always look into your dreams to spot any ego's you might have missed during the day. It is very easy to miss ego's we don't recognize as such. Keep up the good work!

I appreciate the introspection and see that I have been going about the awareness in the correct way.
Though like you've mentioned Karim, I am having a hard time not identifying with the Egos and keeping myself out of day-dreaming. I will put much more practice in this.
I will also put more thoughts into my dreams as of late than usual. The general problem with this is I have a bad habit of hitting snooze when I wake up so I lose alot of dream retaining quickly. Something else I must work on.
Thanks again!

I think that Belzebuub was the one who said it (someone please correct me if im wrong), that one can think and being fully aware in the same time, but it is not so easy task. I think that one should master regular awarness first, in order to be fully aware and to think in the same time.

Yes, he wrote that at first time it's hard to be aware and think, so usually it's one or another, but later with progress -we can do both.
I think M. Belzebuub books and courses are excellent examples of it. They are so spiritual, so consciously made and so smart, so well organized in the same time.
Kind Regards!

I think its great that the awareness comes so easily to you. I had tons of difficulty at first with learning how to get outside of my thoughts.
When I started getting more familiar with being aware, I noticed that it came easier and I was much happier being aware going on a walk than I ever had been watching movies or playing video games.
It's such a valuable skill in daily life, because it lets you act like a normal person, where you can deal with situations outside of ideas and beliefs that we are used to.
Best of luck with the progress.
