Hi,Just wondering if we can see ourselves in a mirror when projecting? I had a strange experience this morning of having an intuitive feeling that I was projecting as I was sitting up looking at myself in the mirror at the end of my bed. I could see myself in detail, just unsure whether we can see ourselves in a mirror on the astral?Also had an interesting experience with identyfing(or what i thought was) an ego and destroying it in my dream. Ive only just startd the ap course, so any insight into this would be great.Thank you,dk |

Our dreams are usually composed of subconscious projections of the mind. This subconscious tends to accumulate throughout the day and then turn into dreams when we go to sleep. However, in our dreams we can also sometimes see symbols and receive teachings about ourselves and about our spiritual progress etc'.
Therefore, the mirror can either just be another subconscious aspect of your dreams or it can be symbolic for something. You would be the only one to tell what your dream means though because our dreams are personal to us. It is best to use your intuition in those situations to be able to know the true meaning behind the dream/symbol etc'.

It's good to hear that you were able to spot a specific ego in a dream It would be good to take note of this ego and take a look at how it relates to your life. You can really learn a lot from your dreams, it would be good to write them down. Do you have a dream journal?

Just a note about mirrors. In the book above, it includes a Dream Guide as Maxwell mentioned. For mirrors, Belzebuub has noted down: "How you appear in a mirror represents how you appear internally."
This may be of significance to you...or it may not. From my experiences with seeing my reflection in mirrors in the astral, this seems to be accurate. There may be times that you don't like what you see....this is something you should investigate on...taking into account what the others have mentioned about intuition, symbolism and projection of our minds.

yes you can, i was in the astral years ago,
because i remember looking into the mirror and changing my eye colour to hazel =)

It can be good to keep in mind that the way mirrors work can also relate quite heavily to the dimensional location you are in, as well as your level of objectivity.
A mirror can be used for symbolical purposes, as can your subconscious if not clear enough make distortions. It can however also be a plain mirror, which truly do show the way you truly look. To learn when it is accurate and when it is not, when it is internal and when it is not, you have to examine yourself.
If you feel unsure weither the mirror give an accurate portrayal of your appearance to others, you can instead look at yourself externally... This can however be very tricky, and I cannot tell you how to do this on purpose, but it can be done.
Do keep in mind, that since dimensional location play a big role in the nature of the mirror (as well as subconscious influences)... If you get conscious in a dream you might not want to trust the mirror as much as if you for instance are in the house with a spirit in the spirit worlds.
