Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this, but I was reading about the angel Metatron and Metatron's Seal, and I was wondering if he is a Spirit Guide/Master or anything of the sort. And does his seal help protect against evil like it says? Thanks in advance,Adrian |

What I was told through handed down teaching (oral tradition) is that Enoch walked the path and incarnated his master. He kept the covanant of Abraham and God and became God's "Right Hand."
Enoch was given his beings name "MeTA'TRoN" (Hebrew transliteration) and is pretty much the top of the hierarchy of ascended beings, THE 2nd in command I guess you could say.
Often placed above the four Archangels in order.
Metatron- Michael-Gabriel-Uriel-Raphael
The books of Enoch were found hidden in a church in Ethiopia and describe his transformation which include descriptions of being stripped of his Earthly garments and given a body of pure light - a strong parallel with what the alchemy teaches about. Alot of talk about holy fire and such.
Interestingly, it also talks of Samael, Azazel, Semjewaza, etc... all the fallen beings and what they did and taught the inhabitants of this dimension.
A good read if you can find them. Try "Apocrypha of Enoch" or something in a search.
