Hi benjamingrim,

I don't know what books you have come across so I wouldn't be sure if they actually had valid substance or not, but in my opinion it is best not to overdo the reading. If you are interested in Gnosticism, the best things to read would be the last works by Samael Aun Weor presented on this site as well as the Gnostic Gospels and Belzebuub's books/articles.

It's just that there is so much conflicting information out there, it can be hard to know what's good and what's useless. Of course I think it's great if you want to increase your intellectual understanding of any subject to read and read and read, but if you really want to get practical experience and gain real Wisdom then the recommended works by the masters as well as esoteric religious texts are all you need to read (and then put in the efforts!!!).

Regards,

Jon.

Hi Benjamingrim,

Intuition is a faculty of consciousness, giving marvelous ability to receive information directly from the 6th dimension. It is related to a heart chakra.

To activate Intuition permanently, it's required to advance with Spiritual Work till the certain level, however it can be activated temporarly, even from the level of an ordinary human being, with the help of mantra "O".

It's very easy to do this mantra -relax as much as you can, pronounce a mantra "O" and in the same time visualize a disk rotating clockwise around your heart. You can pronounce this mantra outloud or mentally, as you wish.

Then, with intuition is activated, you can chose the right books for you to read!

Master Samael wrote something like: "It's better to vocalise a mantra one hour per day, than to read thousands of pseudo-esoterical books."

It's very hard to find a truly esoteric books such as "Gospel of Thomas" or "Flight of the Feathered Serpent" in a libraries, usually books in a libraries are pseudo-esoterical.

Some of the topics you mentioned in your post, are taught in Gnostic courses, so I can suggest you to take them.

Regards,

Vadim

Hi Chris,

Like Vadim and Jon have said, there's lots of pseudo-esoteric information out there. A lot of it might seem like useful stuff, but it can ultimately be very harmful because the information is incomplete or misleading so we need to be cautious. Intuition definitely helps in choosing books to read.

It's great to have intellectual knowledge, but far better to have knowledge of ourselves; this self-knowledge is true knowledge. The books by Master Samael available here such as Revolutionary Psychology offer some practical tools to gain this knowledge and the courses do offer a lot of practical tools, too.

All the best in your studies (both in reading and in practice)!
