u either do the courses online or move to a centre. to move means to leave your old life behind in a way and this means sacrifice. i would follow my dreams regarding which centre to move to and i would ask for direct guidance with regard to that. ask your super male aspect, whatever u wanna call him. good luck ;)

With the good advice given so far, to take the courses online and get the course books, you can begin to look into Gnosis in a thorough and profound way. Making use of the warm community here and everything that is on offer will greatly help in that.

There are a lot of benefits to being around others and attending a Center, yet for some this is not possible, at least not at first. If you are serious in your attempts and desire to know then there is an opportunity for great insight and help to be given to you if put in the efforts and put into practice what is taught -no matter where you are.

I only had the online course forums and community for a long time and got a lot out of it. It was through those networks that I eventually got into touch with someone from a Center who helped to start attending there. That Center was located an hour away but I have been going for almost a year and a half and now find myself in a situation of moving to that city to live with some of the Gnostics that study there.

I never planned any of this, it just fell into place from trying these teachings and following where that led.

So don't be concerned with the future or what you may need but don't have. Simply try what is in front of you and make those efforts to apply yourself sincerely and you can find many opportunities start to open up for you.

So all the best with letting that sense of yearning and curiosity delve into these mysteries to find the wonders that are available to be found and experienced.

I'm the only known Gnostic in the town where I live.

I didn't feel so alone in these practices after a few weeks. I got to know some of my fellow posters and course-takers and so on.

Order the book that goes with the course you want to take, that's my advice. It's not as costly as moving somewhere, that is for sure.

I am also reduced to communicating with other like-minded people through a computer, I think it's important to understand we have an opportunity to use things like our computer and communication technology in superior ways, not just as selfish or inferior distractions.

If you have trouble getting a book you want, you can probably contact a center and get one from them directly. There's a map somewhere around this site that shows where they all are.
