Brisbane's Fund Raiser at the Markets 2
Yes that's right we're at it again!!!
The last Market was such a great success that we had to give it another go.
As they say ones mans trash is another mans treasure and yes we had heaps of treasure ;)
This time we got up at 4.30 to make an early start to the day.
Below we have the famous Sub in action as we head in.
Then we start setting up our positions. Sarah and Bianca had a stall across from us, we just couldn't fit all of our stuff in one section.
Here we have Sarah kindly telling us how to do everything. While Shannon is the go to man for all your computer parts.
I had a trailer full of junk that I was literally going to take to the dump. It was full of rusty and
broken tools and it was the first to sell I sold almost everything!!!
Andy the offer is still there :)
While Sarah contemplates a sale.
Below we have the Sub advertising the courses offered by The Gnostic Movement.
After the initial mad rush its time for a Chai and some bannas to boost our energy.
Now back to the selling Jon hands over a well received toaster at a bargain price.
As soon as Sarah demonstrated on me how this contraption worked,
we had buyers ready to take it. FYI it's a cupping machine used in Chinese medicine.
The day was quite warm and sun protection is a must; even the hats and brolly didn't stop us
from getting burned.
But these guys didn't get burned they're just too cool... Taken it back to the 80's yea
Here we have Shannon to the left Adam, myself, Bianca, Jon and Sarah
It was a great day for self observation. There are so many situations you become involved in that would not normally be encountered. You find that there can be expectations in what your going to sell or not, attachments to certain objects and the whole interaction with bargaining is very interesting.
We had another succesfull out come raising funds for the International Projects. It's a great way to give back to the Movement.
Until next time
Peace out for now

Those 80's sunglasses really were great, made in Italy AND colorful. I wonder why we didn't sell them...oh.. that's right, we were wearing them all day.
