The best thing would probably be for you to try and get into the course, or perhaps get the book. A number of people could relate and speak to you of the process, but in the end what can be explained in a single forum thread is very limited. The course is around 8 weeks, and covering information and practises within such timeframe, to relate things in a single forum thread is just not the same thing.

Perhaps you could try and contacting the teachers/moderators by the e-mail course@gnosticweb.com and ask if any chance of getting in on this round? Though as it has gone about 5 days, it is uncertain.

The basis of a practise with intention of leaving body revolve around deep relaxation and mental concentration/focus though (concentration on the AP technique you chose to use). Such as deep relaxation, and then mental passive, relaxed concentation on a mantra, visualization etc, making what you concentrate on your entire world, blocking out everything else. That is the very short version, but this description is unlikely to be properly understood unless you have more background information.

So it would be recommended to take course or get the book. If you have any more specific questions it would be easier to give answers, rather than basically asking people to write a book in a single forum thread, which is hard to do...

You could enroll in the course called ' Dreams and obe's.

The other thing you could do for a headstart is to order the book called' when I go to sleep' written by the author Belzebuub. The book offers step by step guide as if like in the courses. Once you get into gnosticweb.com click on the link called 'Dreams and obes' you could then sign for this course which will give you fine techniques to get into astral. There is a forum once the course starts where teachers will help you as well.
