Is it possible to meet other people who are travaling astrally? And I heard that no harm can come to you while you are travaling astrally, but I was curious about something. Lets say something fatal happened to your body while you were traveling, what happens then? |

Hello Seth,
I personally haven't met another person while conscious in the astral. However, I've had some experiences that have proved to me that the astral is a separate dimension and when you go there you are really there and it is a place where you can meet beings and people as well.
We go to the astral every time we fall asleep. I don't know of any harmful effects caused by astral projecting, I think being conscious there makes it even safer because in case something happens to your physical body you might be more able to react on time.
regards

Hi Seth
It is posible. At the begining it is not easy though to for example project at the same time with a friend and then meet in the astral because it depends on the level of practice of both so that both can succeed in it at the same time, but it is possible, something that I haven't experienced yet either, I'm sure it would be a very nice experience though. We can meet spiritual beings (beings that have developed consciousness and awakened to the light) who can help and guide us as well, and many other kind of beings.
Regarding your second question, as Pavlin said, we go to the astral every night when we are asleep. Regularly, we loose awareness when sleep takes place, and imaginary dreams clouds our perception of the astral world; but with conscious astral projection, we go to the astral without getting lost in dreams and then we can explore that realm in a much more vivid way.
As the astral is also the place where people go right after death, then I guess nothing extraordinary would happen if someone dies while asleep. But yes, it's important what you said, there is no physical danger on practicing astral projection whatsoever, as we are simply going to sleep.
The astral is a great place and there is countless things to investigate and learn, we can train ourselves to go there conscioussly through sleep, being it still a very natural experience, because physically speaking, we simply let our body fall asleep, but remain conscious about it.

Greetings,
I've had an experience in the astral (a while ago) in which I saw some people, most of whom looked like they were drunk or very sleepy, which is a reflection of the amount of consciousness we have in the physical.
But this was only once. Have you signed up for the Dreams and OBE's course here? I highly recommend it.
You'll just have to explore :)

In the astral you won´t see the person directly, you´ll see his astral counterpart.
That is you´ll see his emotional, desire body.
You will also see your own astral body,
you´ll see your emotions and desires as an image.
you may become surprised at what you see, be careful with your emotions and desires.
keep them positive and compassionate.
