It's Just History Repeating Itself

I've been searching through some profiles of people I went to school with. It's somewhat troublesome to see these people. It's almost like you can see all of history at once. You can see, there hasn't been a real change ever for most people. We live in a mechanical way, repeating the same things we were taught, the same ideas, concepts, beliefs, pushing hard to secure some sort of identity, something we can hold onto... It's like you can see the fate of this direction of life, growing old and dying virtually the same mechanical, intellectual animals as when we were young...

What is it that is keeping us stuck? What is it that we fight for? What is it that we care about?.......

This life, it comes and goes, in the blink of an eye...... There is nothing of it we can take with us to the grave.... We die, and then what? Don't you ever wonder about that?! Don't you wonder what it's all about?! Why is that dead in you?! You have died and gone to the grave while your heart still beats!

I don't want to have the same fate. I don't want to die never having changed, never having found an answer to the questions in my heart.... Never having found a communion with the real Spirit, with real Love, with real humility, with real life. I don't want to train my mind to think this way or that, or to train my body to do this or that... I want the love of my Father in Heaven, and that's all, and I want you to find it too.... I don't want to settle for anything else, because anything else is fleeting, anything else isn't real, anything else is a distraction. I pray the Spirit guides me, even in the darkest hour, and hounds my conscience with remembrance of Him, my Being, that nothing can ever quench my thirst save Him who is in Heaven, my only Solace...

Hi Jim. Thank you for

Hi Jim. Thank you for posting that. I think there's alot of people that come and go, even in gnosis, without any real significant change taking place. That's the way it is though, that's the way the secular world is and always will be. It's not supposed to be changed, we can only change ourselves while in it.

Thanks Jim! May it be the

Thanks Jim!
May it be the reminder to keep changing internally.
Like you've said, I find that without the real change within things just more or less repeat themselves in a different forms.
Hoping for the best, looking to fight through difficulties...

Hey Jim, Reading your post

Hey Jim, Reading your post made me think of this statement coming from: "The Flight Of The Feathered Serpent"
,
If in your heart an intense uneasiness does not burn to the point of embracing you to the consummation of your body you cannot invoke neither God nor the Holy Spirit. And you do not know how to ask, and that is why your hour has not yet reached you.

Peace and Love

  Thanks Jim, you wrote

It's a beautifull video, with beautifull music also, on a spiritual poem written by a gnostic student who was near master Samael, in the past... a spiritual poem, the title: "Todo Passa" (Everything goes... but the love of the Being, or the love of the Christ, stay forever).

Here is the transcription in spanish (and the translation in french) of the words on the video that I had done some months ago for some of my friends who speak french, here in Montreal:

ellos saben que (ceux qui savent que)

I just ran into an old colleague down at the Farmer's Market today, and I was feeling really sad ever since. Your post has helped, thank you.
