I'm copying this straight from my dream diary, so if you'd like anything reliterated or clarified, please ask, i'm really not sure if I managed to lucid dream or not: "Thought I was awake during this, wasn't until morning I realised I couldn't have been (My laptop was still switched on, very hot, beside me). In my dream it was 2:40am, I'd woke up to find my laptop beside me and my headphones still in (I had been listening to binural beats) I got up from bed and sat on the floor with my laptop. It took me ages to turn it off, kept saying the battery was too low to turn off, it never does this, how the hell can a battery be too low to turn a laptop off. Eventually, after holding the power button for what felt like ages (10-15 minutes), it switched it self off. I left it on the floor, and went back to bed, to sleep. The thing is, I felt completely awake, I thought I had been awake the whole time, and obviously I couldn't have been." What do you guys think?

Hi Emma,
It sounds like a strange experience and from what I gather from the details, a lucid dream. It could depend on if the laptop was on the floor or next to you when you woke up as it was related to the dream. Even lucid dreams can feel very real if our consciousness (or awareness) at that point is clear enough. There's also a method to check whether you're really dreaming or not by jumping to float or pulling your finger to stretch it if you're out of body. But I can't say much more as this was your experience.
It's good you wrote down the dream because that can also help remember more details of dreams and more signs if you were actually aware in a lucid dream. If you haven't already I would recommend the Dreams and Out of Body Experiences course as we can learn more about dreams, how to interpret them, how to wake up in them (lucid dreams) more often and explore what kinds of things are beyond the body through astral travel and methods of astral projection.

hello Emma,
Sounds to me you were in a state between sleeping and waking, with a lucid period. There could also be a teaching in the (lucid dream), like working too much in general or behind the laptop;)
