Upcoming Melbourne Mini-Retreat October 2008
Posted September 15th, 2008 by Steve B
We would like to announce an upcoming mini-retreat, focusing on the practices of meditation, open to everyone enrolled in the Open course and above:
The Retreat will be held in Wonga Park, surrounded by Warrandyte State Park and situated on the banks of the Yarra River.
The following images were taken from our previous retreat at this location:
Retreats are a great way to deepen our investigations, build spiritual strength and take a break from everyday life to focus on the spiritual. They also provide an opportunity to meet like minded people, to share our experiences and learn from each other.
We hope you are able to join us!

While you're retreating, I'll be sleeping. Hey, maybe I can join you astrally! lol One day, I'm going to make an Australian retreat!

It would be great if you could come for an Australian retreat sometime Dusty!
Vadim, the big white ones are called Cockatoos. There are other ones which are similar called Galahs, except they have a pink breast and white crest.
They both seem to travel in flocks so sometimes you see lots and lots of them flying, or near a lake or the side of the road resting or trying to find food etc. :)
We have parrots too though (or maybe they're rosellas?); lots of nice wildlife!
Looking forward to the retreat, I miss being out in the bush, and we haven't had a retreat before which focuses just on meditation, so it should be good!
