i do still remember my first experience and the following up later on, and the morning after, i would felt strongly boosted (as you can feel pure energy within yourself and more aware with your surroundings) both physicaly and mentally. it felt magical in the astral, sometimes hard to put into word, but you know its real out there. those experiences has taught me something that anyone can verify that astral plane is real and has given me a new bright perspective about life and its purpose.

the practices and teachings given on the courses here do works, you just need to make sure to put your heart and effort into it

memory loss, is due to the energy body's wich includes the physical body being to tired or exhausted to download the "spirit" memory to the human brain.

try getting better sleep or eating better, you know, its a "lack" of something, wich is giving you that inhability.
there is also a mantra wich enables "remembering dreams/astral experiences etc" in general.

peace and goodluck with your next experience. =)

If you are describing memory loss of the experience, yes that has happened. When you astral project you go to the region where dreams occur, it's in the same place, the same dimension.

So it would be similar to forgetting parts of a dream. However if you lie still upon waking up from sleep you recall parts of it by concentrating on the experience or dream. This is especially useful for remembering important and symbolic dreams. I recommend the Dreams and OBE course as you can get more practical information about this.

Hi Cian,

Like Gerry mentioned it's easy to lose the memory of astral projecting if it happens in the middle of the night, and we fall into dreams afterwards.

That's why remembering dreams is so important--and for me it's been especially useful to keep a dream journal. There have been many times that I've astral projected in the middle of the night, and then forgotten about it, even when remembering dreams in the morning.

But something about making the extra effort to record dreams really works for me, because I always remember more details if I start writing--and this is often when I recover memory of an astral experience.

The mornings that I give in to laziness and don't write down my dreams...well, who knows...maybe I projected that night, but can't remember...

Hi Cian,

Yes memory loss of astral experiences is common, sometimes the heavy sleep that we can experience can cause us to loose memory of any astral experiences.

Some of the tips made above are good to remember experiences.

All the best
