Hi every one I am new to gnostic web, recommended by my best bud. Last night was the first time I was able to conciously astro project, and for the first time i felt the amazing strong vibrations and I also felt my body lifting through the roof! Before this I had astro projected for short amounts of time and without any control of what I was doing. So my question is and I hope someone can help, can you fall into a lucid dream after you have astro projected??? I realized this morning when I thinking about my experience that part of it was maybe a Lucid dream because I visited a cousin of mine who lives in another country, but her home looked like someone i know in the USA, but I was still aware, concious and in control of what was going on. I am signed up for the OBE course and am hoping to learn the notice the differences, but am also unsure when it begins, if anyone can give me their input I will greatly appreciate it! It would be great to see who else this has happended to! |

Astral projection = conscious separation of the mind from the body. This means you do it intentionally and in a controlled manner.
Lucid dream = You become aware of the astral plane in your dreams, and are able to travel the astral plane from there. This term has different meanings in different circles, but that is the definition of it here. It is, of course, astral travel, just that the method of arriving in the astral is different.
In answer to your question; it is indeed possible to fall into a dream when astral projecting. This is why people are encouraged to have goals before they decide to astral project. If we manage to separate from our body, and then hang around and start thinking things like "Oh, yay, I did it! Now where should I go? The park? No, too boring. Mars? No, too dusty. The sun? Too bright. The moon? Too dull" etc. we can easily fall into a dream like this because we are encouraging our subconscious mind (which is what makes dreams possible in the first place).

Hi EMaleth sd,
That sounds similar to my first experience, I rose and floated above the roof of my house.
To answer your question, yes we could fall into lucid dreaming. Good luck with the courses and I am sure the teachers will give you more valuable tips for your progress.
