Courses Begin Anew in Toronto
As with all the Centres and Groups around the world, the courses started up again this Sunday in Toronto (August 24, 2008).
The group has worked very hard of late to promote the courses in new ways, while at the same time, keep up a level of practice at the Centre and in our daily lives to try to build something truly spiritual up here. After quite a few rounds of disappointing turnouts, this round promised to get things back on track.
85 people registered for the Self-Discovery Course and a total of around 65 actually made it out to the Centre this Sunday (inc. the Drop-in Meditation Session we held earlier in the day, before the Self-Discovery began).
I hope everyone gets a chance to check out one of the courses, workshops, or practices in a Gnostic Centre some day and discover the benefits these teachings have to offer.
Many thanks to Belzebuub for giving his inspiring weekly talks and publishing all those videos of late, which have really inspired us to push harder to get things moving around here, both within ourselves and at the Centre.

We got a very kind donation of a surround sound speaker system a few days ago, so Stas and the team were hard at work to get it all installed on Friday and Saturday, in time for the new round to begin...

Here's a close-up of some of the work to be done. As usual, we didn't really realize how long it would take to simply run wires through the ceiling and mount a few speakers, but Gnostics always find a way to drag things out!

Ready in time! The centre, left, right, surround left, and surround right speakers all up. Makes for a nice atmosphere with the right cd going, and should enhance any movie nights in the future.

And the best news yet, Noah from Halifax has come to help out for now!
