So - Hello Ppl - I'm Emilia, Ailime on the net. (it's my real name spelled backwards). I pretty much found out about agnosit angle today or yesterday or pretty recently. I was born and brought up a Christian Protestant, I was totally ... euhmm... I had my moments of doubts and rebellion, so to speak. (I burnt an actual "Holy Bible" to make my point that it's only a book like a math book or a philosophy book). I also was into Satanism but that didn't last long, since they are pretty much sex addicted freaks and I'm asexual (I rather have that kind of activity in my dreams and not in awake world).

On the less frightning theme - I just turned 25 last Saturday (the 16th of August), I am 3rd year college student (after highschool I have been here and there and worked and studied other stuff) and like two weeks ago I took out a book I have read in the past but I felt like re-reading and something happened obviously since I'm here ^___^ and so from one reading to another, here I am ! I have always ... been reading crispy stuff and always been questionning WHY and of course often rebelling against the set rules. I have nothing against Christian faith - I am Christian! but the way the church is handling the question disturns be. (Actually, one major detail : in the bible, Jesus says that the holy house of God should be kept for prayers nd not for commerce, when he shakes up the sellers and merchants in the Temple scene ... well, I don't wanna be a party breaker, but today's Church is pretty much about money and power and politics, breaking his desire and wish ... so I kinda lost faith in the church. (Not to count the ... troubled past of the church as an institution) And then the Stigmata movie brought up the Gospel of St-Thomas and even if I have the dvd since ages, I just like last week end had the little light bulb above my head lit up. And yaddily yadda - you get to be annoyed by me :D (I bet you are tremendously happy !)

Also, just took out the Gospel of Judas (Iscariote) and it's a rather nice reading ! I am now trying to find the Marie of Magdalena's gospel (though I doubt I can fin dit at the library - they do not even have the Gnostic Bible, and yet they have a zillion versions of the regular bible and all other faiths books...)

As a conclusion : I am pretty spiritual, open minded, I write down my dreams since age 8 - not all but the best ones ;) - analyze them and just rencetly reached the next level which is totally awesome ! I had not yet had an out of body experience, only two ... failed attempts.

and I will now shut up because this has been a very long introduction.

Hello Emillia,

Welcome to Gnosticweb, it nice to have you here. This site is very good and can really help you to learn many things about yourself. As you probably saw there are courses that are available here for free as well as several others things such as books that are also free of charge for download. Here is the link to all the Gnostic Gospels or at least most of them.

Welcome Emilia! It's great to have you here :)

Have you heard of The Flight of the Feathered Serpent? That is one of my favorite books. It is about Judas and the first edition was published before the Gospel of Judas was released. It really touched me and I really recommend it if you are interested in the Gospel of Judas.

Are you interested in going further with out-of-body experiences? The course here is great. It is easy to follow and very practical. Lots of us have been successful with it. Learning about the astral and dreams gives us more opportunities to experience spirituality.

I hope you stay around and allows us to benefit from your insights in the forums :)

All the best,

Gabrielle

*hugs* thanks Woods and thanks :D I will do my best and see how it'll go- but I'm confident :D

Stas : thank you :D I am finding much crispiness around the web ;) I do trust my guardian angel to open me rith doors and put the right stuff on my path. Just today I got my hands on the Gospel of Judas (written by Jeremiah Iscariot ... would you think it's a late relative or hasard ??) and the Gospel of Mary Magdalena too *I'm sooo happy about it!!* and also a book I have been wanting since a recent reading, by Pierre Jovanovic about Enoch. (I have been introduced to Enoch by a satanist priest a while abck but I never really was interested. Each thing in it's time and context !

Gabrielle : I have never heard of the book yet but it's on my list and I do thank you for wanting to share it with me :D  I have seen the available courses, but for the moment, I am in between too passions : dreams (which are getting totally wicked awesome cool) and of course retrying that since just two weeks ago, I had another ... helping hand to try it ;) I will look closely at the courses of course but at the right now moment - I'm too high with the books - so I'll live that high and when I'll be calmer I'll be more serious about the training :D

Adam - thank you :D  I will also bookmark that. I've been reading - like 30 mins ago in Pierre's book how the early chruch has decidd which gospels will be in the final versiona nd which not; sad how a few men of power position did change the faith, the path and the way of living so many millions of pp.

Thank you all for the warm greetings :D I already feel home ;D
