This isn't really a question, just thought I'd post that I sometimes have some issues with the videos on Belzebuub.com but I'm not sure if it's just me or if others may be having the same problems. I have tried it on two different internet connections (both wireless) but using the same computer. It could just be my computer or whatever, but thought I'd mention it anyway... Most of the time the videos work just fine, but sometimes the video will run sans audio for 2-3 seconds, then stop, and just look like it's loading, but it never gets anywhere. Other times it goes back to the start, with that big play button in the middle, but the same thing happens again if I click play. If I remember correctly, restarting the computer helps sometimes. Doesn't matter which video - either all of them work, or none of them. It's not really a big deal, can always try again later. But if this is a problem other people have had that there's a known solution for then I would really appreciate some help with it - but if not, then no worries :-) Liz |

Hi Elisabeth,
For me the videos work fine, so the problems you are having in viewing them could be related to your computer/system configuration. Probably it is best to ask Gonsticweb’s helpdesk for assistance (helpdesk@gnosticweb.com).
Good luck

Hi Liz,
I'll pass your query along to the IT team, and see if they can suggest anything...
One thing I have found personally is that I have more problems web-wise if I'm using Internet Explorer as my browser, so for that reason I normally use Firefox.
Kind regards,
Vicki

Thanks Vicki :-) Didn't mean to make this into a big thing, just thought I'd put it out there in case other people are having the same problem. I always use Firefox, so that's not the problem, but the videos worked just fine after I restarted the computer.
It's a sporadic problem though, like I said not a big deal...

Hi Liz,
The IT team has suggested that it may be due to a "bandwidth" problem... this usually occurs when your local ISP is having a very busy time - then your service can suffer a little, especially if you have a connection that is not "super fast". If you have the right software, you are able to download the video to your PC and play it whenever you wish, without the broadband connection issues.
Hope these suggestions throw a bit of light on the problem!
Kind regards,
Vicki

Hi Guys,
Yeah I experience this issue too sometimes. However it happens to me when I am using Firefox as my browser. If I open internet explorer and copy the link into there they play fine.
It doesn't happen all the time, but it seems to occur if I've had my USB headset plugged in to listen to stuff, then if I unplug it the next time I go to play a file it won't run as Elizabeth described.
Strength to everyone!

I also have this problem at times. It's something to do with firefox and flash.

I have Firefox and it's even worse for me so far. No videos even start, the only thing that moves is the little blue ball in the center screen. I'm going to try it again right now, report back.

Yep. As of Friday night, it was for me a choice of the blue ball rotating (videos) or my Firefox beachball rotating (audio).

I'm using firefox on ubuntu. I've had a problem with the videos and the chatroom when an unorthodox flash player plugin was installed for Firefox. Uninstalling it and reinstalling Shockwave Flash fixed the problem (so far that is). I can see what plugins are installed by going to Tools ---> Add-ons.
