Hi everyone I was wondering do you want to hear about people's astral projection successes? Do you think it is encouraging or irritating as I know astral projection can be disappointing and frustrating at times? Thanks |

Hi Sally,
For me hearing about other people successes usually is very inspiring and motivating, and in the same time I learn from tips and tricks which do work.
This helps me.
Irritating? Do you mean envy? I guess...yeah, we all do have more or less of it, but if we won't hear about astral projection successes, we'll hear about something else which will bring envy anyway.
Besides envy, I know that if I share with pride, this can irritate others. Being in pride a person can't fully realize that by putting yourself up, you may put others down, and they don't like it.
I think it comes down to ability to communicate from internal clarity, awareness.
I'd like to hear more about successes, about great results... let it be a standard to strife for!

Hi Sally
I agree with Vadim , it is really motivating to hear of peoples astral experiences the time and effort ,practice , failure then out of the blue yesss the experience that can be so profound , i find this great especially if you can help because in helping you will recieve help and everyone learns , so many people have only heard of this experience and hearing people talk of their successes gives them what is required , yes a standard to strive for .
regards David .

Hi everyone
When I have successes and failures I will let you know as you said you like to know. I was not successful this morning because I could not concentrate. I will keep trying every day. I always find during the week is harder to astral project because I have to get ready to go out to work. The weekends are easier.

Is there anyone WITH a success story about astral projection here?
When I was a kid, I believed in Santa Claus and I believed I could fly. And I would rush out into the day to play with my friends with the same enthusiasm that I would rush into my dreams. There was no adult mind saying, "That's just dreams, son."
But after years and years and years of training, now there IS an adult mind. And it tells me, just get a good night's rest and forget about the obviously self-contradictory project of being awake while dreaming. (Son.)
What do I tell this Adult mind?

Is there really this dialectic of being an adult
and being a child. fact is the world is chaos,
and i have the dream to free myself from it!
Yes, its very nice to hear from successes,
and also if i spoke with friends about transmutation.
I felt twice that they took an attempt later alone,
and it was always a real great thing for my
well-being!
Maybe one day we feel the same for our own successes and the successes from others,
who do really, really thems best.
The own adult mind is teaching the own child
mind, but mind is always mind.
put more forces on actions,
mind and brain are not the same!
hopes this is something to
dwell in for some minutes

I like what Dusty said in regards to a related topic in another thread http://www.gnosticweb.com/node/20809?page=2
"If someone is having a reaction to a post (including me), it's a perfect opportunity to observe the manifestation and then to apply the death if you have gotten that far in the studies. Then, to go back and read the topic over again. It's amazing sometimes of what you will see the second time around."

I think I'm schizophrenic, cuz I sure didn't do that to myself in more recent postings, did I? Thanks for posting that and maybe I will remember it myself.
Thanks for being my friend.

Ooh, thanks for your friendship too Dusty, and for your honesty.
Well, the thread" Talking too much" didn't cure myself from talking too much, sometimes I can write first something in the forums with a certain tone of authority and confidence but later find myself not doing it by myself and feeding egos...
Guess, we all have more or less the same problem, there is so much darkness, it's one thing to understand something and is quite another to do it...
Such a great challenge to remember to "watch and pray", and to "watch and pray", "watch and pray", isn't it?
