A Visit in Toronto

I wonder what's going on in Toronto these days...

Just over a year ago, Justin and Jasmin left from the Toronto Gnostic Centre to go and try to get things running in Vancouver, the third largest city in Canada. They came back for a visit this weekend and had time to drop by on old friends still around here at the Centre.

It was very nice to see them, and I have to admit, the best part was the short practice in the practice room at the end of the night! I remember Edith giving us all a talk once about 'the good old days' and how we often take for granted the situation we're in, and only later realize how good it was to have it; hence, in a way, 'the good old days' are actually happening right now... Well, it was great being in the practice room with 7 people again, and specifically, this particular group.

Welcome, Vancouver Gnostics!

The tour of the Centre begins, which they haven't had a chance to see in person yet.

Olga and Jenny sift through a Leonardo da Vinci book looking for an inspiring image to add to one of the practice spots in the Centre.

Justin and Jasmin have a look through Dara's catalogue of soup signs, which is a popular addition available during the courses on Sunday. Hands down, the favourite was the 'Holy Lentil Soup!' sign

Group shot on the stage: Justin, Jasmin, Olga, Dara, Stas, Jordan, and Jenny. I messed up the lighting and camera settings a bit here, so unfortunately, we are all suffering the consequences of 'lousy photographer's red-eye syndrome'.
