Hi

I think mermaids are make believe, a nice story. You should be able to get information on mermaids from libraries and bookshops.

Hi Shabbeer,
Many creatures exist without us knowing. What I have read is that the specific are symbolic creatures in mythology indicating parts of our psychological self. There are three: Mind, desire, ill will.
You can read about them in the three mountains and other books by Master Samael. You will find it most interesting for your psychological work.

All the best

Hi Shabbeer,

Samael Aun Weor mentiones in his works that creatures from mythology such as gnomes, elves, fairies, etc. are elementals living in the 4th dimension.
So perhaps, mermaids are one of them.

Like at was said, there can be some symbolic meaning related to mermaids as well.
For example, it can symbolize different forces presented in a human being, partially animal, partially human. If it is described in a myth or seen in a dream, the meaning depends from overall context and other symbology.
It can be an interesting subject of meditation just to let go any intellectual descriptions and ideas about mermaid to pass away, feeling like you really know nothing about it, and then trying to understand its meaning intuitively.

Best wishes,

There is said to exist a certain elemental being related to the water element called undines. These beings appearance wise would look like mermaids, upper half human lower half as fish. There are as indicates in previous posts, many types of beings out there... and many beings which are often portrayed in myths and old stories are actually real beings of an elemental nature (beings of nature). These reside and exist slightly above us dimensionally speaking. The way they are portrayed in stories and myths is sometimes quite accurate and sometimes very inaccurate as to the reality and nature of such beings.

Generally speaking, these beings of nature are of a very friendly and pure nature, and some appear to have much much knowledge, while others are more like innocent children.

I cannot personally with total certainty declare the reality of undines (mermaids), but other beings of such source of nature exists. There is however a part in one of Samaels books, where he narrate travelling by boat over the seas, and seeing/encountering undines.

isn't it just a folklore or a fairytale but who knows we can encounter one in the astral or it could just be a figure to symbolize water element or the embodiment of this thing called love/emotion which is also associated with Water.

hello Shabeer, are you new here and may I ask what is your country?

shall we ask the finnish sailors hmmm jahfonde?

jahfonde,
Based on the way of counting used on this site, we are in the 3rd dimension. What I meant though in my previoius post, was that beings of nature such as gnomes and undines (mermaids) exist higher up dimensionally... And that the reference to Samael's experience with undines were not that they existed in the physical dimension when he saw them, but higher up dimensionally being seen psychically.

but thats what i already meant, by "in the 3rd dimension, nah",
as in, them being in the third dime and "nah", meaning no they dont.
