These thoughts stem from Reading Richard Q's post ,and Jim B's post ...

Do you have a plan in place to do this work ? What is the finale results that you are looking to get out of your time here at Gnostic web? Because if you do not have that plan in place you will fail in this work guaranteed ! thanks Richard for pointing that out. Balance is key - "You cannot be overly spiritual to where you are no worldly good ", Everything in life takes a plan , and the execution of those plans in order for you to have success in life and in
spiritual work. A lot of people come to a teaching like this and do not realize that this work will be one of the hardest things that you have ever did in your life , and most of the time they do not have a plan in place . No plan No success!

Having a plan is like having a GPS, of course you could use a paper map, but why would you want to? You have a system that explains the directions on the map. Every destination is different so what works for you may not work for me when I'm traveling, but having a plan is that GPS. It caters to the individual traveling needs.

Everything in life has a price, and the price that you must pay for awakening is your life !
If you are not willing to give your life, you are in the wrong place .

Hi Tony,

It makes a lot of sense to me what you've wrote.

To start with planning it can be useful to find first the starting point.
Where I am now in life? What is the most important for me? What are my goals? Why these goals? What is the biggest problem I'd like to correct? What is my strongest part? If today would be my last day on Earth, how would I like to spend it?
? ? ?

I wonder to what degree is it possible to realistically evaluate ourselves...but without knowing at least partially where we're now, can we know where would we like to be?

I totally agree with that Vadim . I'm so glad that I ran across the gnostic teachings , because I really think that it gives those tools to really see ourselves for what we really are .

I also agree. We have to know where we are, and where we have been, in order to know where we are going.

Having a plan is definately helpfull. My problem in the past has been indescision within the three brains, "666".

Why ask for answers and reach for them when a plan to put thm into action is beyond one's grasp?

Hi, Apakhana why do people treat spiritual work as if it is something far from them or get into the conclusion that they are matter , and nothing more ? I think I know it's the attachments that we have . How can you give something that you don't have ? you cannot ! you must have first in order to give ...

Hi Tony,

Can I ask you to elaborate a little more on what you meant when you mentioned balance?

A teacher was telling me about the successes of another teacher and how they had achieved it. This person who was gaining experiences worked on computers, and he explained that his approach to practices is similar to working on a computer. If something in a program doesn't work, then you look into why it doesn't work and what you need to do to fix it. So then that's how he took the practices, if he wasn't getting results then he looked into where the "bug" was... Where do I keep losing awareness during the day? What is it that causes me to forget myself? Does my astral practice not work because I can't properly relax? If so, where is the tension and how did it get there? etc. etc.

Even though that seems like it should be obvious, I realized I never really looked at my life like that until I was reminded of it in the Master's talk on "Using Time Well".

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Tony and everyone else, this thread is good reminder.

Jazzarati wrote,Hi Tony,

Jazzarati, I will elaborate for you .When I mentioned balance I mean balance when one separates ones life into compartments , which is really perception problems , we think that spiritually is different then the rest of our life that we live, but spiritually has no difference than normal life. It's just that we build this compartment perception of our life , and that is what I was talking about when I used the word balance. Moreover, while we must live here in the material world we must fix our perception problems , and be balanced.

I hope that explains the meaning ...

Unfortunately, I would be praying for forgiveness for failing in another life.

Probably not, I would would be thankful for this last day on this great blue jewel in the vastness of God, and did my hardest to be aware of every moment of this most remarkable day.

Wishing you all a great spiritual morning.
