Astral projection is an internal science it depends on the efforts that we put in to understanding how it works and then working to improve and concentrate on the practices to make it work. First of all I would recommend to take the courses if you have not done so. Secondly in order to really succeed at astral projection you need ti make it your main priority. So that activities of the day are geared towards you being able to astral project. These might include concentration practices during the day, awareness of the present moment and concentrating on what you are doing at any given moment in your daily life. All this takes humongous amount of effort in order to make it work .

Also if you want o really succeed, you also have to make necessary sacrifices. What I mean by this is for example instead of going out with your friends on Friday night and partying you might want to choose to stay home and do practices. Don't take this literally it does not mean you have to stop seeing your friends if you want to become good at astral projection but only shows that you have to make choices between things that you like to do and things that will help you to astral project.

It is also important to remember that everybody different and for some people it takes much longer than for others. So it is important not to get disheartened and to keep trying until you succeed.

Concentration seems to be one of the most required skills for astral projection, strong will power and ability to hold attention on one thought while staying relaxed is something which can make work a different methods of astral travel.
