This is a quick question regarding the phrase "spiritual work". It may seem a dumb question but what does it mean exactly ? By this I mean spiritual work on ourselves. |

Hi Andrei,
Essentially life offers us an unbelievable potential - something so amazing that it's scarcely comprehensible, even at an intellectual level.
We are ordinary humans now - just animals, really - but with the "spiritual work" we can transform ourselves into spiritual beings ("gods", "Masters", etc.). In this state we not only have full knowledge of ourselves and life but we possess complete bliss, happiness and love all the time.
This is done by carrying out 3 practices that are taught in detail in the Gnostic Wisdom course. These are the 3 keys:
1) Eliminating the subconscious: psychologically we start off in a very subconscious state. The subconscious influences nearly everything we do from our thoughts to our emotions, even to body motions, etc. It keeps us from really seeing life objectively and prevents us from experiencing the wonders of consciousness like serenity, wisdom, astral experiences, psychic faculties, etc.
As we eliminate the egos, we awaken consciousness and reduce our subconscious. In the process we are able to feel more peace and happiness and be more awake in the higher dimensions, etc. At the end of the spiritual work we are 100% conscious.
2) Alchemy: the sexual energies need to be transmuted and used to awaken and raise the Kundalini, build spiritual bodies in the higher dimensions and incarnate the Being within us.
3) Helping others spiritually: we can't awaken without a lot of help from Above. And we only get this help by helping others to progress spiritually themselves.
I gave the general idea but I'd really recommend taking the courses to further learn about this, and to actually learn the techniques to carry it out yourself.
Best wishes,
Mike
