Last night i asked for a sign in my dream............... after a failed astral projection................... Well I went to sleep and had a very vivid dream about getting into a fight with some guy (never seen him before) and i got really hurt (stabbed) but i killed the guy and then i woke up........... I did have pain in the dream but didnt wake up like it hurt bad when i got stabbed but i didnt wake up. I would assume if it was a OBE i would have woke up from the pain, So is that a sign or symbol, I have the guys face burned into my mind so I'm checking faces to see if i recognize the person then i would stay away from the person lol.... |

Vivid dreams generally mean something, though the meaning is usually symbolic. Intuition is the best way to understand dreams and is a more in depth 'gut' feeling that can offer much more depth and understanding about the dream content and meaning. Similar dreams can mean different things to different people so understanding dreams really lies with the individual as they are the one who experienced it.
Saying all that I would hazard guess (due to the recurrent themes had by many people including myself) that the dream you had could be referring to the need to fight internal mental and psychological states (egos) that are harming your astral attempts. This may be referring to the larger spiritual path in general as these egos are responsible for most conflict internally and externally and eliminating them is the foundation of true spirituality.
Just a quick note. Dreams are best kept private as they are direct messages to the individual that are usually best kept confidential.
