Hi all,

As you know trying to astral project can be frustrating. There is no guarantee that you are going to
succeed. Every now and then I have been able to get out of my body then I get zapped back in
again. Probably because of some emotion. I never give up because I really want to do it. I try to
learn from my experiences. I finally succeeded this morning. It was about 2.00 am and I was lying on my
back for a long time, then I had enough. I turned over on my side. I got the vibration and I moved out of
myself. I went through the bedroom window into another land. There was different sporting fields. After
a while I went back into myself. Shortly after (still lying on my side) I got back out of myself again and
went through the window into another land. It was raining and I was walking on glass panals
and there were plants around. A while later I went back into myself. I probably went into another place
instead of outside my house because my mind was somewhere else. I really want to have lots
of experiences. Hopefully I will have many more to come.

All the best with your practices, Sally.

Thanks a lot for sharing, Sally!

Yes, I think dealing with emotions plays a big role to stay longer in the astral.

Recently when I was out of my body, my first goal was to open up my "astral eyes", and then when I opened them, I really wanted to look at my physical body because I just had just rolled out of it. But when I looked at it, it brought right away a certain emotion, and I woke up in the physical.

I guess besides practicing seriously and treating astral projection as a big and important part of life, it comes so much to spiritual work in daily life.
If we miss these bursts of emotions here, we miss them there too.
So much comes to the speed to deal with egos.

Anyway, each experience adds up to overall learning more or less...

All the best!

I have only been able to astral project once and it was even brief so I say wow, that is very inspiring Sally. Anyway I myself is not giving up. I'm currently enrolled in Astral and Dreams Course and there's still few weeks to go. I'm hopeful. It can get frustrating sometimes that I try to combat it by looking for things that can inspire me, like tonight I will listen to classical music and light some incense. They say it has positive effect on one's moods.

Hi Ferthon,

I remember when I've taken the astral course, during the course only once I was able to wake up in a dreams but couldn't make it out of my body.

My teacher's answer was basically the same: "just keep practicing, you'll make it eventually".
And yes, some time later I had an experience to fly out of my body.

Inspiration seems to help a lot to keep motivation, these are great tips about classical music and incense! Astral experiences can be very rewarding... definitely worth of serious practicing.
