Wondering if anyone can shed light on an experience I have had twice now while preparing to project.  Each time it has happened when I have woken during the night, and decided to take advantage of the break in sleep to practice.  I have woken feeling as if I have had a huge gaping hole punched through my chest.  It physically aches, and has hurt too much for me to focus properly on the practice.  I have been concentrating on focussing on my heart beat, and am not sure if this is connected to the latter pain I have been experiencing in my heart.  Would appreciate any feedback.  Thanks!

Addition:  Since submitting this, I have realised what it is all about!  The ache is my heart opening.  Which of course is a good thing.  But I am leaving this entry here in case it helps anyone else.
