I remember reading in the Astral Travel and Dreams book that the loss of hair (or balding) in a dream represented a loss in sexual energies. That made me think of the story about Samson and Delilah where Delilah ended up cutting Samson's hair making his "god-like" strength dissapear. I then ended up thinking that the Samson and Delilah story was a highly symbolic one. Has anybody came across the same type of things with bible stories? If so- do you mind sharing their symbolic meanings? |

Hello Brandino,
that is a really good observation. I am not that familiar with Samson and Delilah, but clearly it could have that symbology you speak of.
I cannot offer anything else at the moment as I am not that familiar with these stories.
Look forward to what others have to share.
Great discusion topic, Brandino.

I also immediately thought of that story.
I think it also shows what can happen if we select our mate in the wrong way, rather than allowing the divine to correctly provide for us.
The story of Moses always intrigued me, more so than Yeshua's. Perhaps because there's more historical information.
Going "up and down the mountains," about "raising the serpents" in the dessert and his serpents devour Ramses' magician's serpents, Moses finds his master between the "two oceans," the new law being founded in "stone," etc...
The tower of Babel and it's symbolism, Noah, Ezikiel's experience, Enoch's story, are all some more I like.

I really like the story about that guy David who was able to defeat Goliath.
A possible interpretation can be having a courage to face a huge and powerful ego and destroy it with precision, giving it no chance to "play with the muscles", eliminating it right in the exact moment of entry to the center.

I wouldn't mind seeing these biblical stories/ movies again; in the good ol' days' the movies used to be made more true to the story.
