Hello Jack,

There is a lot one can say to help in astral project. Hence it has been put into a course format that is available free to anyone interested.

The course is Dreams and Out-of-Body Experiences and you can sign up by going to the relevant page through that link.

The course round has just begun but I am pretty sure that if you can't sign in there you can put up a post up in the helpdesk forums and a moderator should be able to add you in manually.

In addition if you have a look around the site there are many exercises and practices mentioned in articles and videos that should be able to help.

All the best and don't give up :-)
Adam.

Well, there are a few things I suggest:

1. Read as much as you can on the topic. For me, I find that it is easier to project when I am more "into it", if that makes sense.

2. One of the most helpful things I have learned is to project in the morning. You will read a lot about having to be in a trance or being fully relaxed. Plan to wake up a few hours before you normally would, or try to catch yourself in the middle of the night or early morning when you're rolling around in bed. As it turns out, after you have slept when you are in a groggy state, you are in a trance. Also, you are well relaxed from sleeping. So there is no need to use a relaxation method.

3. Practice, practice, practice!!! All it takes is to catch yourself at the right time inbetween dreams or whatever. Then all you do is try to keep focused on a single thought. If you can keep awareness long enough, you might start to feel vibrations or hear noises. I usually feel them, but they are not necessary. If you do feel them, then try to get out of bed like you normally would. There is a good chance you'll end up in the astral. But do some checks to be sure. Don't get fooled though, it can be very, very similar to the physical. I usually check for objects in my room that don't belong. Well, there is a lot more I can say, but hopefully this is helps. If you have any other questions, just ask.

Best of luck,

Hi Jack,

What type of exercises are you trying to astral project with and can you decribe the problems you are having.

Are you doing the new Dreams and OBE course?
