Hi, I finally have time to look at the course. However before I start I have a quick question. Having scouted through the book the last task is to meet up. Has anyone actually met up with other travellers? I also presume, that if these people meet (i.e. the people who met up in Egypt) they spoke to each other using the Mind (and im talking like a Medium picks up a spirit..) ANother quick question, I am very very short sighted, will this affect me in the Astral? Ill be blunt I was skipping through the threads on here, and it appears to be one question that is asked but avoided. I would like to believe this happens as I am sure I did it when I was young once or twice, and a few times. |

Hi there,
"Has anyone actually met up with other travellers?"
- I haven't. Not from gnosticweb. The problem is that astral travel is hard to do and so sporadic to most that it's not easy to coordinate a meeting, unless you might be in a group setting and you all project at the same time into the same room or something.
" I am very short sighted, will this affect me in the Astral?"
- Well I am too. Pretty much blind w/out contacts. Since I don't sleep with them in, if I wake up and I can see my room clearly then I know I'm in the astral. The thing about the astral is that for me, everything is much more vivid than the physical dimension. The senses are clearer and it's easy to tell where I'm at as long as I'm not dreaming. It's a good way to verify I'm in the astral because I know I can't see when I wake up until I "put my eyes in."
Mabey you could try to use your bad eyesight as a tool like I do? It's one way to use a handicap for you rather than against you. Know what I mean?
I glad you brought that up.

Thank you for the reply regarding the short sightedness.
Has anyone reading this met up in a group setting before?

Hi Stuart,
On the last Australian retreat there were quite a few instances off different students meeting each other in dreams and in the astral consciously and being able to talk about it later. It was quite magic each morning, hearing the recollections.
All the best,

Thank you very much. I am going to try it. I am not a Sceptic but I hate failing! The other problem I have is I will need to do it 'secretly' in the day time, the simple reason is familly. Working Part Time I can ask the dear wife not to disturb me in my office (I also have a nice comfy chair!). And of course kids, although not on this plane yet im sure my night time will be filled with joys of crying...

Hey Stuart,
That's great to hear your going to be doing the course!
Don't even think about failure. Gaining astral success is a mathematical thing really, if you keep practicing something consistantly, trying to improve, you get better at it and eventually results come. Often when we don't expect it, when were not hung up on the result.
I had never projected before doing the Astral course and I was able to from doing it.
Looking forward to hearing how you go with it all Stuart,
Good luck mate

I just wanted to add that I've only met 2 real persons in the astral, I never expected it but then I met them in the physical in situations I never asked for. Like at Work, and in a bar!
