Hi! I have taken three courses at the danforth centre, but not too many people showed up....

Danforth, where abouts is that? I currently attend the centre here in Melbourne, but I like to participate in the forums as well.

So you have been to the Danforth center, In Toronto, right?

I was there last summer, I helped the teachers paint it before it opened. If you went to the library were the classes were held before the center opened up, we may have met.
I currently go to the Berkeley center.

Well, Sarit, it is always so great to meet people learning the same spiritual knowledge.

Hi Beer,

Well you have come to the right place to learn about OBE's the course will have heaps of techniques to try out so you can astral project (another name or term for OBE's). The main thing about trying to project out of the body is to concentrate the mind on one thing whilst falling asleep in a relaxed way.

The mind is probably the biggest problem or obstacle to successful astral projections and this is because the mind is so active during the day and it's not use to being truly focused on one thing or activity at any one time, generally we are use to thinking of many things at once and this hinders our attempts to astral project.

So training the mind to fully concentrate on one thing is helpful when trying to astral project and is also vital for the spiritual work in general.
