Hi Jahfonde,
"can karma be removed iff not, reduced by doing exstensive inner work?"
From what I understand, yes, because intensive inner work can eliminate egos (causing karma) and generate dharma (compensating karma)
It's explained in details during Gnostic Wisdom course.

Hi Jahfonde,
I agree with that Vadim said; I just wanted to elaborate a bit.
Karma is a law that is there for our learning. When we make mistakes by acting through the subconscious there is a consequence (karma) that brings suffering. And if we do good then there is a reward (dharma). In this way, through our lives, we can learn to act in a more conscious manner. Regrettably, many of us don't learn our lessons all that well and keep making the same or similar mistakes. But karma is always there, as a sort of guiding force.
Beyond karma and dharma, though, we can learn through inner spiritual growth. It is the subconscious (the egos) that cause us to make these mistakes. If we eliminate an element of our subconscious then we consciously understand all the mistakes we committed because of it, and in most cases the karma is then pardoned because we learnt our lesson.
As Vadim said, there's also dharma, and we also get dharma by working upon ourselves spiritually. The dharma can also pay off some karma.
Best wishes,
Mike
