Hello jahfonde,
I will answer based on my own experiences, as I am no longer a very theoretical person. So please, I would advise you to read, about find out the truth yourself.
When one is faced with a situation, first he decides what he wants to do, that is the will. Then he uses his brain to find out how, the way. Then, concetrated, he acts, using his imagination. That is a daily process that a person should use in order to live every moment in the present. So, when a job is planned, the process is the same. But first the time must arrive. It is like feeding yourself. When your body needs energy, you want to eat, decide what and why, think how to find food and then you eat. When one is trapped into theoretical tasks, one could lose the present moment, and act mechanically, everything happen "accidentally" in a way of speaking.
So we were given this life to actually learn how to function properly, stay focused and worry about the present. I believe I have a job, that is to live every moment. I have noticed that I used to wonder these questions, and I lied to myself, because a lie is also a false idea that one accepts without knowing. Giving you a theoretical answer would be as telling a lie to you, because I don't have a clue.
I would suggest some of lobsang Rampa books, he is a wonderful master who has a unique way of giving answers to questions like yours. But don't forget, one must drink water in order to have an opinion if it is hot or cold.
Have a nice day :)

Hi Jahfonde,

If one takes up the spiritual work and starts to make internal progress, they become a tool for the Divine. If one is able to make enough progress and awakens, then they have certain roles and duties to fulfill over there. So, for example, you have Masters of karma who issue karma. This is my understanding of it, just based on what I've read.

that is a very interesting question jahfonde. I believe our job in
this
life is to gain the knowledge that is open to us so that we can get a
better understanding of this life. If we have this knowledge and
understanding it will be easier to open ourselves to spirituality and
really bring ourselves closer to happiness and enlightenment. So i
guess our job is to really just enjoy life and try to be happy, or as
monty python would say; "Well, that's the end of the film. Now, here's
the meaning of life.
M-hmm. Well, it's nothing very special. Try and be nice to people,
avoid eating
fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try
and live
together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations."

thank you for reading.

If we are to speak of the average general spirit (not highly developed beings) there are those who do have certain roles and occupations after death, as are there those who do not (my impression is that most spirits in spirit worlds like to just relax).

In the end I think, or that is my impression at least, that it comes down to the free will and choices of the individual. Those who want to have work get to have it, and those who do not, they can just relax.

As for the roles of beings of higher development, such as masters of karma etc. I think it might be a good idea to keep in mind that each individual do have a free choice. In this physical reality having a work is part of the need for survival (in most cases), most people do not like their jobs but do them because they need to survive. Having in mind that higher dimensions are a bit different, the defenition of "work" is likely to not have the exact same meaning.

A higher developed individual, such as masters of karma, by defenition would have the "work" and responsibilities of dealing with karma. However in the end, I think one have to strongly keep in mind that beings of such a high development like and want to help, being part of their nature. As such a master of karma likely does that work because it is in his nature to help, and it is what he wants and likes to do.

Therefor I think it is good to differentiate between work and work... If all you could imagine doing in life and WANT to do is work in the zoo (random thing) and you just happen to get payed for it, is it then work?

But that is just my impression...

Hi Shane,
I wonder what a starving Ethiopian, et al, would think about your take on the meaning of life? Wouldn't it be nice if it was really that easy? I wonder what paradise on earth would be like? Is it possible? Is paradise possible?

Hi Dusty,

"Is paradise possible?"

Good question!
Realize, though it is possible, but not to our humanity.

Paradise is an Anarchy.

Anarchy is not necessarily chaos and no rule-no order, it just becomes that to klippothic people in this world.

Anarchy is only possible in a Christified society. Not in one that worships the demiurge and it's legion of selves.

dusty, i personally dont think there can be paradise in the physical, because that would remove the whole definition of life.
life is a lesson, a lesson cannot be learned if theres perfection.
how ever, iff there is perfection, it meens that, one has learned the lesson.
peace.

Hi Dusty,

For a starving person, to find a place where they can always eat can be like finding a paradise...but then, maybe just a few weeks after, they would be likely to look for more and more and be unhappy again...unless a true inner change takes place within.

I am sure that many here had experienced the same thing, like you spend a lot of time doing Gnostic practices and then go outside, and the weather is really horrible, cold, windy, rain, ice storm, dark clouds, and you enjoy it so much, just being in the present moment and perceiving it, as it is...

Well, if there is really a paradise, to be honest, I'd like to chill a bit over there but first, to be fully ready to really perceive and appreciate it's beauty...is it possible? How is it possible?? Paradise internally and externally???

Hi Apakhana,

Wow. I think that actually made sense to me. lol I know this is kind of off track of what I asked, but your answer just gave me a whisp of understanding about what is being taught, what the essence of "evil" is and why demon names are being used here.

I can't put it in words yet, it's kind of slipping in and out of my grasp. But, thanks!

Hi Jahfonde,

Yes, I agree with you. That makes sense and seems to be definitely a piece of the answer.
