iff evils became good, would that meen all the dimensions and universes become perfectly stable, or vice versa. ill say this hesitantly, but please understand me when i say it, like overall evil is there so that the good, can lern from there wrong doings? like iff everything was at peace, would life not lern? |

how thought provoking Jahfonda.
if everything was at peace
what happens now to "evolution" does that mean everything will stagnate?
if everything was at peace and no evil
there is no argument what is good and what is evil.
if everything was all good and no evil
do we still need God?
what is the purpose of there having God, in the first place?

Goodmorning from Greece :)
First of all there is the truth. What is evil? What is good? Does intention make the difference? Does result? Let's see.
Someone attacks you. What do you do? Do you defend yourself? So you hit the person that attacks you. It makes sense right? You defend your own being.
Someone is troubled. Your intention is to help him. But if you don't really know what is right for him because you ignore the truth about his situation, if you don't know what he thinks, wants, how can you really help? So maybe you give a bad advice and your good intention makes a bad result.
Evil and good are just words to describe an action. But a result is the product of our action no matter what name we give to it. It's like maths, 1+1=2. Living our life gives us an opportunity to understand the truth by observing ourselves.
Maybe the truth is so simple that we can't see it because we give labels to things all the time. We know everything. We want so many different things. We are slaves of our own egos, our personality, we have no control.
Seeking the truth. Freedom to choose. Power to act.
Just from my own experience.

Hi everyone,
Jenny brought up a good point.
We have to be aware that Good and Evil are ideas and nothing more.
Like I mentioned to someone before, there is only an omnipresent law of opposites that exist which got me thinking about polarity existing within the absolute.
As it's explained, the monad can not self-actualize only existing in light.
There is no possible way to come to "know" anything when you only exist in one polarity.
It is the creative Logos itself that has made the opposite of light, the idea we assign the word "evil" to, and understanding it's purpose is an important step in going up the spiritual stairs.
When someone comes to know a truth, it's ridiculously simple. The truth is always there staring right at us, but we can't see it because of our handicapped perspective caused by what we "think" we know and what we identify with.
Jenny I liked where you're going with the "...your good intention makes a bad result" thing.
Just the other day I was in a city and this man wandered into a resturant I was at. He was homeless, dirty, and obviously high.
He kept bothering everyone in the place for change and he came up to me, spitting while he talked.
I honestly didn't have any money for him and told him sorry. He got angry that I didn't have money for him and was as bold as to threaten me over it.
These people have problems beyond anything we can help them with and sometimes you know what they need to do but they are devolved to a certain point where they can not comprehend any advice you give them in the first place.
Alot of people in those situation do not help themselves and people usually help them perpetuate their suffering even though their intentions were good.

Goodmorning from Greece again :)
Sometimes is so hard to overcome ourselves, isn't it?
The most difficult thing at first is to understand why we do the things we do. As you said my dear friend, we always want to help , and this is a very nice thing, but the truth is that we do it mechanically.
What do we really know? How can we really help? Our personality always knows, and that is so sad. Do we know how to love? Can we really forget our fake self and the moment another beeing approaches us, can we really feel him? Can we honestly say: If I was in his situation, how would I want others to help me? Sometimes fake love gives us wrong advices. But true love warms our heart, and makes us forget about our tiny, pride self and then we can experience the truth.
Aren't we all the same pieces of one puzzle? Don't we swim in the same sea? What if everyone we meet is a part of us, we could be in his situation and maybe the only thing that conquers all difficulties is a smile from the heart, a sweet word that doesn't come from our personality, but it descends from the brain and comes out from the heart. Knowning the truth makes us free, gives us power, power to love and act.

I think when there is no evil there is no good.
The trick might be the Divine spark we have all in us as they say, which goes beyond good and evil. When this Divine spark makes us all one, then the rest is rubbish.
Which comes down on being spiritual and not judging good and evil, good luck:)
Indeed depends how you for example describe 'good' , might be explained quit different by many folks and it seems a changing thing trough history.
