Hey,

It's funny you mention that. Although it wasn't an astral experience, I had a dream that I spent an entire lifetime in and although I can't go into the details, when I woke up it was almost a relief it was over.
It actually felt like I just lived an entier life.

This whole area is interesting as time does not exist in the Astral.

I've read time is distorted on the astral plane, but i never heard that it doesn't exist at all.

Hi george,

I’ve read that time is the 4th Dimension and the Astral Plane is found in the 5th Dimension and is sometimes referred to as Eternity. Thus the Astral Plane operates outside of time.

It oftentimes depends on ones defenition of time and the perspective one takes when making statements such as that.

Time do exist in the astral in the sense of personal experience and surrounding reality perception of time. By this I mean spirits in spirit worlds can talk about current day, next day and yesterday etc. But the relativity of time in those regions comparable to our perception of time, is not the same, an hour there is not an hour here etc.

In addition to this it is possible, that time does not have a linear fashion as it does here. If one then removed the linear thining in regards to time, one can speak and referre to the non-existence of time, and hence all those statements of time are true in their own individual ways.

A dream can seem to last perhaps years even during one nights sleep. There are several films which have the characters enter another world and when they return only a few minutes have passed. Some dreams can feel like that, that either much time has passed or lots of events have happened. As Marc said, time and its progression does not occur in the astral.

All the best
