"The origin of the World"
This is an untitled text of the Nag Hammadi.

I wondered if anyone knew who authored it?

It's long, and esoterically almost as hard to make any sense out of as Pistis Sophia.

It is not a Christian text. But there is a similar christian gnostic text called "The Hypostasis of the Archons", maybe that can give some help in getting more of this particular text. Esoteric sense is reached from having experiences in higher dimensions. Perhaps reading first the texts mentioned here will give some familarity with these gnostic texts:
