Tiny Yellow Dot

well I tought of sharing a story from a person I know who had a near-death-experience. What she experienced is quite interesting. I listened to her story a while ago. I still remember most of it though. There's a magazine in my city dedicated to the people from here, and in it her story was published, written by her. She was our english teacher at school when I was in 5th grade and we all gathered together at class, and she read the story to us. I'll try to remember as much as I can,

She was born with some medical condition in her heart that made her unable to do heavy physical activity. She would feel exhausted and it would be dangerous if she did. Anyway, at some point when she was older, something happened (I don't remember what) that she had to go to the hospital. She got very weak that she couldn't breath. So they had to threat her and they used that machine that artificially makes the pacient breath.

After a day or so, she woke up alone there, and suddenly phlegm got stucked in the tube that was giving her air through the mouth and into the throat. The air couldn't pass at all. She was unable to breath. Her arms were tied up to prevent her from freaking out when she wake up and find out she had this tube in her throat, so she couldn't reach the button to call for help. She was trying as hard as she could to get her arms untied but she couldn't and she could see all her skin getting purple. Then she lose consciousness for an instant.

She found herself floating in the room horizontaly, looking down. She could see her body on the bed. Then she just turned around and then it was like if someone have turned the lights off. She could see only a tiny yellow dot above, very far away. She then started to rise and fly towards that yellow bright dot. Then she saw how she was going through these kind of horizontal layers as she was going up. In the first layer she saw small animals, like squirles, rabbits. Then in the second layer she saw bigger animals, like deers, horses, bears. After that she saw a layer with children. Then she go through a layer with mature people. After that, she saw old age. Through all this, she was always able to see this tiny yellow dot very far away, above.

She suddenly found herself in a blissful place where she couldn't see anything but white light. She said she felt a so uncommon bliss there, an incredible happiness and peace. Then she felt a hand touching her head. She was not afraid, she was simply in peace and bliss. Then a voice said "Not yet. Return, and go in peace."

She then felt a huge pull that brought her all the way back, and the first thing she felt was the pain in her chest from the electro-schocks.

And that's basically what I remember. There were many more details in her story, but I covered all the details from the near death experience. It seems to have a big meaning. I was amazed when she told the story to us and I had a lot of questions that couldn't be answered. Also, there was a girl in that class that also had a near-death-experience, and she said she only remembered the tiny yellow dot.
