Do we have to go to the causal dimension after death? Is there a rule that just says we have to, or are we actually forced to?

Why couldn't one just not go into the "light" and hang around the astral awhile? It's so hard to get there, so why can't we stay there after the body dies for a bit?

Will some divine hierarchs chase you down like an interdimensional bounty-hunter?

Hi Apakhana,

Actually, as far as I understand this topic (which is pretty much all intellectual), where we end up depends on the strength of our egos, etc.

If we have another life yet to come and our egos are strong then we just stay in the astral. It's only if our egos are weak that we get to go to the causal before our next life, which is a much more spiritual experience and apparently provides the deceased with spiritual strength.

Kind regards,

Mike

Hi Apakhana,

From what I've learned intellectually, it's not necessarily the causal, where not awakened people go after death.
Our misdeeds can make us to be "too heavy" for that and attach us to the astral before the next life, or even cause us falling into Abyss, depending on state of karma and dharma.

Are we forced to go to the causal...can we resist it... perhaps going to the causal is precceded by help from Divine, so our consciousness gets activated...and in this state I don't think anyone would even think or feel like rebelling, it won't make any sense, unless he or she is a demon or something...
You know, like a person can have a bad intentions towards someone and just look into their eyes and there is "truth" in the eyes.
It brings so much remorse and you feel sorry, feel empathy... bad intentions are gone, for now.

Best wishes,

Vadim

Hi Jahfonde,

From what I understand for the most part we have to have another physical life if we don't advance far enough spiritually.

This physical world, although less glamorous than the higher dimensions, is necessary for us to learn spiritually.

Best wishes,

Mike

Hello Apakhana,

Interesting question. I thought I'd share my bit on it.

Unfortunately, we actually have very little control of anything while we are in this state of psychological sleep - mostly under the control of the subconscious.

If you are looking at your dreams every night and seeing what's happening there and how you are behaving there, you'll get an idea of what death is going to be like if nothing within changes. Most people who aren't working on themselves will just be immersed in the projections of their subconscious, oblivious to what's going on or even of the fact that they are dead; just like in a dream except there is no physical body to come back to and give us a stable point of reference.

If you were actually in the circumstance in which you had a chance to consciously go into the light (the causal plane), it's highly unlikely that you'd want to pass on it.

At death, and even in life, we are at the mercy of the Law in which the divine hierarchs enforce. But we have the opportunity to liberate ourselves from this and it's in our best interest to do so.

When we see ourselves for what we truly are, everything gets put into proper perspective and this inner work takes on a whole new life rather than just being an ideal that we try to pursue for whatever reason.

All the best,
Michael

Only after doing a whole lot of work here first.

The work doesn't get easier, if we can't make steps forward right now, then we won't make steps forward up there.

How do you mean Jahfonde? I apologize if I came off too harsh in whatever way. It's just that from what I've experienced so far, this work is very difficult and the way I see it, I think it may help if people understood this directly so that people can be better prepared. I've seen the damage that misconceptions about spirituality and this path can do, so I try to be direct, since trying to be 'tactful' seems condescending to me.

I appreciate it when people are honest with me, no matter how painful it might be. Therefore I try to do the same.

All the best to you in your pursuits,
Michael
