i cant quite get it yet... any advice???

okay so I've been trying to get out and I keep getting the vibrations but it doesn't seem to go much further. I think I may have gotten there or almost there once but I was terrified when I started hearing these noises like a hellecopter in my room and I opened my eyes and couldve sworn I saw a face and everything was so dark and scary and it didn't last long at all... when I tried to move I felt like stone and I couldn't do anything...

I don't know what exactly that was but I've tried since and every time I get to the vibration stage I can't go further or it goes back to normal full consciousness in my body...

I know the next courses start in may (on my birthday to be exact) but id still like to at least get there once and be able to look around..

can anyone offr any feedback or advice??

Hi Sender_Unknown,

When you couldn't move the astral and physical bodies were about to split. The trick is to remain calm at this moment and to stay focussed. Forcing the practise at this moment or worries can end the practise immediately.

If however you are sure you have projected, try to roll over on your side and gently try to get up from bed, you may be surprised.

thank you so much. that was very helpful... it was only my second time trying when it happned... the first time I fell asleep... you are right about me needing to not worry... I became terrified when I started hearing and feeling things I wasn't used to... I guess its just hard for me to let go and let it come naturally. thanks for the new hope... I will try again soon.

Don't worry about the weird noises. I got them my first time too, but I overcame my fear of them thanks to reassurance from this website.

1-intensify concentration
2-deepen relaxation
