I can't seem to have lucid dream anymore. I think the last time I did might have been last year, and in that time period I had several lucid dreams, but not any OBE's. Otherwise, nothing has come to me recently. I guess my body is just tired at the end of the day and doesn't have the energy to let me obtain lucidness.

Any other thoughts on why that might be?

Hi,

Yes, being tired can certainly affect lucidity during the night.

Lucidity in the dreams relates to "lucidity during a day", awareness of the present moment, in other words.

When a person is tired, it becomes harder to be aware, becomes more difficult to stay detached from egos and not let centers to get unbalanced, but it's still possible.
So it becomes a question of applying willpower and gaining willpower with efforts.
This struggle has a great rewards.

Other options can come from looking how to have more rest during a day, spend less energy.
Analogy with business can be "depositing energy" on account and investing it in a worthy projects.

Best wishes,
Vadim

Hello Sky,

On top of Vadim's helpful reply I would just like to add that its not uncommon for astral experiences to petter off. Its just something that happens of which we have to put in more efforts and practices to regain what we had, and ultimately will allow us to gain bigger and better experiences.

Astral projection is indeed a worthy aspiration and one I have found to change my life for the better. However it takes a constant choice to keep on reaching for it even when other things externally and internally seek to take it away.
If you fight you will win. You just have to make the choice and keep on going after it.

There is a free course on this site in Dreams and Out of Body Experiences thats worth looking at if you haven't already.

All the best with it,
Adam.
